20th Anniversary CD to be released in 2010!
The Hunter Singers 20th Anniversary Concert was held on Sunday 22 November in Newcastle City Hall. The concert was such an exciting event, with over 100 current and former members forming a wonderful Combined Choir. The CD Castles will be launched in May. Sunday 21 March - Hunter Singers will participate in the In Harmony Festival at the Riverside Theatre, Parramatta.
May 15, Hunter Singers CD Launch, Newcastle Conservatorium Concert Hall, 7.30pm. A special concert to launch Castles, the Live CD recording of the Hunter Singers 20th Anniversary Concert. Tickets $25 adults, $20 concession, $12 children. Phone 4942 8521.
July 5, Choralfest Bound!, Adamstown Uniting Church, 7pm. Featuring Gondwana Chorale, Hunter Singers and The Australian Voices on the eve of their departure for the National Choralfest in Port Macquarie. October 10, Hunter Singers Hosts Northern Spirit, St Andrews Presbyterian Church, cnr Auckland & Laman Streets, Cooks Hill, 2pm. 2009 Tour
The Hunter Singers Tour of Austria and Germany was an outstanding success. The group won 2nd prize at the Summa cum Laude Festival in Vienna and performed at the Gala Prizewinners Concert in the Musikverein. Click here for the full 2009 Tour Report.
